Everyday DNA In Motion: Using Genomics to Improve Life
This animation won the Award of Excellence in the Tier 3 Tactical Materials/Projects Audio and Video at the 2025 Southern Public Relations Federation Lantern Awards.
The first installment of Everyday DNA in Motion, “Using Genomics to Improve Life,” is an award-winning, five minute animated video that explains the basics of genomic research and HudsonAlpha's role within the field in an approachable manner at both the visual and content level. The animated video sought to solve the challenge of increasing recognition of HudsonAlpha's brand as an expert in the genomics field, as well as defining what genomics is and what it means to their audience.

The following the success of the first installment, two more animated videos followed establishing Everyday DNA in Motion as a series. These videos are shorter in length and explains specific research taking place at HudsonAlpha. The same goals remained of increasing brand recognition as well as presenting HudsonAlpha's audience with complex scientific topics in an approachable way.
"Genomics for Bioproducts" was used in an application for a competitive NSF grant. "Using Genomics to Improve Crops" was used to promote HudsonAlpha's Dothan, AL location, HudsonAlpha Wiregrass.

HudsonAlpha 15th Anniversary
This animation was used during an anniversary event for HudsonAlpha's stakeholders. It celebrates HudsonAlpha with fun motion graphics while adhering to the established anniversary branding for the year.
